Carpentry workshop and recycling refugees from Cameroon in Nigeria

Changing lives through education: Bingo Environmental Foundation supports education for refugees and youth in Nigeria. Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. VAH eV, in collaboration with MKCDF, is proud to announce the successful completion of a Bingo-funded transformative skills development project.
Launched in June 2023 and completed in January 2025, the initiative offered practical training in carpentry and the sustainable production of paving stones from recycled plastic. The program empowered 10 refugees and five youth from the host community in Uyo, equipping them with valuable skills to improve their livelihoods and promote environmental sustainability.

The foundation is financed through gaming taxes and, above all, through revenue from the Bingo Environmental Lottery.
