Leni Keller workshop -Oron/Nigeria

In the city of Oron, which is also home to many refugees from Cameroon, we have opened our second "Leni Keller Skill Acquisition Center". For this purpose, a large apartment was rented there, the rooms of which are being used as workshops and classrooms. As in Uyo, the “Max Kuma Community Development Foundation”, the partner organization we founded in Nigeria under Nigerian law, acts as the local executing agency for the implementation of the project.

Currently in Oron, as in Uyo, we offer courses in sewing and fashion, making accessories as well as wigs. Additional sewing machines and equipment have been purchased for the center in Oron. As in Uyo, some people from the local community will be able to participate in the courses in addition to the refugees.

As in Uyo, we will also offer psychological counseling for the refugees in Oron.
