3. The personal data are processed for the following purposes

 

    Course / advanced training interested / participants: for registration management, certificate of attendance, appointment reminder, etc.

 

    Contact form: to be able to implement your wishes and information that you provide to us via the contact form (processing of the request)

 

    Online registration mask, online expression of interest / application for specific qualification offers (e.g. Fit in German) and differentiated profile mask for participation in the advisory and support pool: in order to be able to answer or implement your wishes and expressions of interest that you communicate to us online (processing of Inquiry)

 

    Sending personalized newsletters and conference offers: to provide you with the information you need about our offers and services

 

4. The data processing takes place in order to carry out the tasks assigned to VAH or the purposes set out in the articles of association and the other services listed under points 3 and 6.

Members of the Diversity Africa in Hanover e.V. can register on our website in order to use the functions of the intranet.     Right to cancellation

    In principle, there is a right to have personal data deleted. However, the claim depends inter alia. on whether the data is still required to fulfill the tasks (see also duration of storage).

 

    Right to restriction of processing

    You have the right to request that the processing of your data be restricted, unless this is contrary to an important public interest (e.g. economic use of budget funds).

 

    Right to object

    You have the right to object to the processing of the relevant data for reasons that arise from your particular situation, unless an overriding public interest or a legal provision precludes this (e.g. implementation of the procurement procedure).

 

    Right to data portability

    In principle, you can "take" your data with you if it is needed by another body. However, this does not apply if your data is used for the performance of tasks in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority that has been assigned to the district government.

 

If you make use of your right of objection, the district government will no longer process your personal data unless it can prove compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, Exercise or defense of legal claims (Art. 21 DSGVO).

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you can contact the supervisory authority with a complaint (Art. 77 DSGVO).
